As a senior technical project manager at Jarvus, I led a software development team through the building of a web-based, mobile-friendly platform for IndeVets, a Philly-based veterinary staffing agency. The platform allows independent vets to "shift shop" (open their mobile phones, scan available animal hospital shifts nearby, and choose the ones they like based on things like distance, hours, and incentives.) These vets at IndeVets get to make their own schedules and work as much as they like, while still enjoying full company benefits. IndeVets's core mission is to improve work-life balance for veterinarians.
